En 2010, suite à un séjour effectué en Chine dans la ville de Kaifeng, Anne-Marie Giroux crée deux séries de peintures intitulées ROUGE et KAIFENG, CHINA. Sans toutefois suivre une thématique précise pour les deux séries, elle oriente sa recherche vers l’exploration des multiples interprétations que peut lui inspirer un même sujet.

In 2010, following a trip in China in the city of Kaifeng, Giroux created two series of paintings entitled ROUGE and KAIFENG, CHINA. Without following a specific theme for those works, she oriented her research through the exploration of the multiple interpretations inspired by the same subject.
